In the light of responses received to my last email, we've now
re-visioned the Lay Employee Day on Thursday 23 April - there's an outline at
the bottom of this email and you'll see it's now just a morning!
We very much hope you'll still be able to join us – from the
comfort of your own home using Zoom rather than heading over to Kendal.
Please do reply to (email@example.com) and let us know if
you're still able to attend and we'll then send you the link to join us, a few
We still will hold the Q and A with the Chairs - for this it would be
really helpful if you could send me (firstname.lastname@example.org) in advance your
question that you'd love to ask the District Chairs, by Friday 17 April.
Zoom allows us to split into groups for workshops using breakout rooms –
we will take care of making that happen but need to know in advance which
workshops you'd like to attend. You have the option of attending two
of the three options listed below:
Mel will be hosting "Communicating well - a chance to share your learning, top tips and frustrations in these current times"
Brec will be running "Looking after ourselves well when we have been furloughed"
and Alison Ball will hold one on "Living our vocation in a strange land"
Zoom conferencing can be draining so we have planned in several coffee
breaks. If you want to opt out of any of the programme you are free to do
so. If you only want to do one workshop, indicate which one and which
time slot you want to do it in.
Please reply to Rob (NWMannNetwork@gmail.com) with your workshop choices by Friday 17 April.
Looking forward to seeing you!
