How HOPE is understood in different faith traditions

hopeAs we approach the season of advent, what can churches and other faith groups offer in the public sphere? Surely the concept of 'Hope' is one that many, many people are in desperate need of.

The Lancashire Forum of Faiths with Churches Together in Lancashire will be organising an on-line seminar exploring how HOPE is understood in different faith traditions, and how we can adopt a hopeful rather than a hopeless view of the future.

Open to all, via Zoom, Tues 1st December; 10.30 - 12.30

If interested please contact Peter Lumsden (pjlumsden58@gmail.com); Zoom log-in details and programme to follow nearer the date.

Thursday 17th December 2020, 7.00 pm

This year we ask you again to take Lancashire Sings Christmas to those in our community who are socially isolated.  This may be to those who may be unwell with a carer, or just someone at home alone.   This is a good way to re-connect with members of the community which our churches are called to serve.

An Introduction to Apologetics

Apologetics

"Faith strengthening and faith sharing“

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”  - 1 Peter 3:15

Is it only unbelievers that need reasons for the hope that we have ? No!

This introduction to apologetics will strengthen faith and equip to share it with others - and it will be enjoyable too!

More than a Coffee Morning

Coffee

There is an online coffee morning
every Tuesday, 11.00 am for 45 minutes - could this be for you or someone in your church?

What is it like? It's like a coffee morning (although you have to bring your own bring and biscuit!)

How do I give it a try?

If you would like the link to the zoom coffee morning, please email Rob and he will send you the link.
