Year of Prayer, 2012
Welcome to our District year of prayer!
Following on from our focus last year on a 'Year of the Bible', this year we turn our focus to a 'Year of Prayer'.
We already have planned a number of different events that are being held across the district, and we will be adding to this list as the year goes on. A list of known events to date can be found in the table below.
We have also produced a booklet/ journal, called
Transforming Prayer: A Journal for the Year 2012.
There should be copies of this available at your local Methodist church, or please contact Margaret Squire in the District Office if you wish to enquire about additional copies (lancsmethodist[at]btinternet.com, 01772 721527).

The prayer journal contains several suggestions of books that different people have recommended and which focus on different aspects of prayer. To see a separate list of these suggested books, please click here. You make like to write and submit a review of one or more of these books, or make your own suggestion!

Week of Praying through Art events, 4-11 March, hosted by churches of the Blackburn with Darwen circuit.
